Today’s surprise: the Space Needle helped one of my characters feel in control of his life. The Space Needle has been a recurring symbol in the novel and I’m pleased with this final swansong for the historic landmark of the city in which I live.
In two days I’ll be wrapping up NaNo 2010 and my first novel! It’s really kind of thrilling. The way I have it planned now, I have one more chapter and then an epilogue. With that, draft one of this bad boy will be done!
